Eradicating Ageism

We tackle ageism through a mix of advocacy, public education, and policy initiatives—focused on dismantling stereotypes and systemic barriers that affect both older adults and younger generations, advocating for social justice across all ages. Ageism affects individuals of all ages. We're dedicated to confronting this prejudice head-on.

Transforming Long-Term Care

We're committed to transforming long-term care by advocating for the rights of residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. By amplifying the voices of those in LTC, we aim to build a more compassionate and accountable care system that prioritizes dignity and quality of life.

Advocating for Older New Yorkers

We work on behalf of older adults across New York State and NYC. As members of the New York State Master Plan for Aging (MPA), we work to ensure that older adults and individuals of all ages can live healthy, fulfilling lives while aging with dignity and independence. We fight to amplify their voices and uphold their rights.

Representing Older Persons Globally

We defend the rights of older people globally. With consultative status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council, we participate in UN deliberations on critical global issues to ensure that older adults worldwide can age with dignity, independence, and respect, promoting policies that uphold their rights and well-being.

Transformation Tuesday Webinar Series

Our free, monthly Transformation Tuesday series addresses ageist issues that impact older adults and their network from nursing home reform to climate change. Presenters from around the globe include elected officials, advocates, and experts in the field of gerontology and intergenerational activism.
